Life Underground

Photos of people on the tube during their daily commute are controversial to say the least.

-There are 7.5 million people in London.

-The Londoner’s average daily work journey time is 101 minutes.

-Length of network: 402km/249 miles.

-The Underground name first appeared on stations in 1908.

-Total number of passengers carried each year: 1,107 million.

I am one of them, I spend 2 hours a day on the tube so I have to keep myself busy.

I read the news, I listen to music, I play Angry Birds, I shoot people.

This collection of photos taken on London's Underground is not meant to make fun out of anyone, I just think people are fascinating, especially on the tube. The tube etiquette (do not read my newspaper over my shoulder!!!), the way people get angry on a packed carriage, the way some people show kindness by letting someone sit...

Enjoy the ride!
