Frequently Asked Questions

What camera do you use?

I currently use a Sony full frame mirrorless camera (for street photography and client jobs).

Where can I see your London urban photography?

Most of the urban photography I’ve produced since 2008 is available in the dedicated urban photography gallery on this website.

Where has your photography been published?

Petapixel, The Guardian, TimeOut, The Huffington Post, Evening Standard and many others listed in my features pages.

Where has your photography been exhibited?

In the UK and abroad: W Hotels, Hoxton Hotels, Drake & Morgan bars and Proud Galleries.

How far will you travel for a photoshoot?

I normally shoot either in London and around Dorset where I now live. I have not yet found a place too far to travel for a shoot.

Can I trust you to do a good job?

I have been hired as photographer many times by large international brands (Adidas, Heineken, Amazon, Peugeot), many of them hiring me again following a successful shoot. I also have testimonials available to provide extra assurance.

Do you teach photography?

In the past decade I’ve had many opportunities to share my experience with people wanting to know more.

This includes talks at photography clubs, schools, camera stores… I also offer online tuition via Zoom, Skype or any other alternative.

But of course the most obvious way I try share my experience as a professional photographer is by writing articles either here on this photography blog or for various global photography publications, the likes of PetaPixel, Fstoppers, DIY Photography, Amateur Photographer, Digital Rev, Digital Camera Magazine, Creative Review and others.

Do you offer advertising on your photography blog and website?

Yes at times, usually through sponsored articles on my popular photography blog. I aim to keep most of this website fairly free of advertising so not to ruin the end-user experience. I only discuss products I can honestly recommend and always feature a disclaimer at the top of such articles.

What is your photography blog about?

Established in 2014 this is a photography learning blog covering many aspects of photography although a large part is dedicated to urban photography and street photography.

Aimed at people interested in developing not only their photography but also their creative mind through inspiration tips and technique as well as projects they may have not necessarily thought of.

I only talk about what I know.

So whilst I may not cover all of photography or claim to know all of photography, I hope my own experience can be of value to someone out there.

We never stop learning.

Who is this photography blog for?

I do not aim to teach the professionals but instead tailor my content for beginners and intermediate level photographers. I don’t really like the word amateur photographer.
