Photos Of The River Thames In London

For over a decade I have been capturing the ever-changing streets, architecture, skyline and people of London through my urban and street photography. Inevitably with time and a lot of hard work I have amassed a large collection of photos of the River Thames in London and landmarks which border it.

River Thames runs for 215 miles, through Oxford, Reading, Windsor and eventually London. It is an integral part of the capital, it’s its beating heart.

As a (previous) Londoner for 18 years, I spent countless hours walking the London section of the River Thames Path.

The air is noticeably cleaner, the view is wide, there is no traffic and you can see most of London’s landmarks in their full glory.

Let’s begin our seven mile walk down the River Thames, starting from Battersea Power Station to the West and finishing in the business district of Canary Wharf to the East and many of London’s famous landmarks along the way!
