My Street Photos of Londoners in Kentishtowner

Back in June 2016 my black and white street photography body of work called "The Great Londoners" was featured on the cover and two pages of Kentishtowner magazine.

Finally the digital edition is available online!

Many of you will be familiar with this series which I shot during the course of a year here around London. It featured candid street photos of Londoners shot mostly around Kentish Town and Camden.

All were shot with a manual 35mm lens by zone focusing (fixing the focus at a set distance) and at a wide aperture usually around f0.95. Quite a tricky series since the people were walking towards me and with such a shallow depth of field, hard to get the right focus.

This was also the subject of my last exhibition back in 2014 for the opening of the Hoxton Hotel in Holborn where 30 of them were exhibited.

Talking of exhibition... there may well be one at the end of this year so stay tuned for more info!

Check out the article if you'd like to know more about the people I shot.
