London Bridge at Rush Hour - London Street Photography

Nico Goodden January 20, 2021

London Bridge at Rush Hour // London Street Photography

I shot this photo on London Bridge one wet weekday morning at 8.30am. It feels like it was another life.

Commuters, probably off a train at London Bridge Station, were rushing to work in the City across River Thames.

At that time it’s best to stay on the other side of the road or otherwise risk being trampled in a not to dissimilar way as being trampled by cattle.

I love capturing movement/motion in my street photography. It can be a little tricky as you need to find a shutter speed low enough to capture the subjects movement but not so slow it will capture camera shake because I’m hand holding the camera, it’s not on a tripod.

I share many tips on how to improve your own photography on my blog, which after years of very hard work has now reached 4th of all UK Photography Blogs.

BTW: If you read @PetaPixel, they will be publishing one of my articles on Leading Lines in Photography today I think.

I could shed a little tear. ;)

Until next time, stay safe.

Nico
