Regent Street Shadows - London Street Photography

Nico Goodden January 7, 2021

Regent Street Shadows // London Street Photography.

Some photos only work upside down!

That Autumn morning I was walking down Regent Street and at that time of the year (and of the day) there is such a warm glowing beautiful light.

Golden light casting long shadows, blinding slightly the shoppers walking down towards Piccadilly Circus after some Oxford Street retail therapy.

You can see plenty more London street photography in the dedicated gallery:

LONDON STREET PHOTOGRAPHY & STREET PORTRAITS

If you are keen on photos which step out of the usual eye level viewpoint, I’ve written a new blog article on Low Angle Photography, how by shooting from much lower you can achieve effective results in your photography.

LOW ANGLE PHOTOGRAPHY

It is part of a broader series I am currently writing on the many key aspects of photography composition including:

  • RULE OF THIRDS IN PHOTOGRAPHY

  • LEADING LINES IN PHOTOGRAPHY

  • SYMMETRY PHOTOGRAPHY EXAMPLES

  • NEGATIVE SPACE IN PHOTOGRAPHY

I hope you find it useful.

Until next time.

Nico
